Episode 3 Future, Cruel Violence and Hollow Words

[ as she checks around a corner with a compact mirror to make sure it's clear: ]

KYOUKO: The fewer of us, the easier the killer will be to find. The rules disadvantage the attacker. It's as if they have no intention of winning.
RYOTA: Where are you going?
KYOUKO: To do my job as a detective. While we were unconscious, someone was killed.
KAZUO: Going alone is dangerous. We'll go with you.

[ kyouko sighs. ]

RYOTA: The attacker is one thing. But why did Munakata-san suddenly decide to kill Naegi-san?
KAZUO: Munakata-kun is a strong man. But a hope that is too strong can sometimes approach despair.

[ ryota clenches his fist. ]

KYOUKO: What's wrong?

RYOTA: Then...we shouldn't be doing this to eachother! We need to believe in eachother and work together!
KYOUKO: Hey, Mitarai-kun...May I see your forbidden action?

[ ryota gasps and backs up. ]

RYOTA: Well...
