I was just telling Daisuke that my "shhhh" autocorrects to "AHHHHH" on my phone. I think it's because we mostly scream about art or food through text.

Probably. I find autocorrect hinders more than it helps when it is actually needed.

But man, what is up with our phones? This is the third text that went to the wrong person.

Nothing that bad! But it looks terrible out of context...

I told Daisuke not to get locked in a portapotty, my professor thinks I had a stroke, and another friend thinks I drink paint water on a daily basis instead of eating regular food.

I wouldn't call that "really bad" so much as "mildly odd".

That said, as far as I have been able to gather? Any odd events typically last only to the end of any given month, generally, if the effects do not disappear sooner.

It's still kind of embarrassing, especially having to explain to my prof that I wasn't having a stroke but I just mixed my energy drink with my coffee.

A month... that's a pretty long time. Did you misfire any texts as well?

Already? We're only a few days into classes.

A few. Some were perhaps odd, but were mostly in reply to oddness...and then the reply got lost.

I know but Methodologies of Art History is really boring at 8am...

How are we expected to communicate properly like this if our texts keep on going to the wrong person or get lost?

Would it really bore you any less at a different hour?

I don't think anyone is concerned about that. The people in charge, I mean. This may be one of those "residual effects"...for now, I suppose the most practical thing to do would be to proceed as though any message you send could be sent to anyone else, and make certain the message alone wouldn't be troublesome?

... probably not but I think I would have been able to at least stay up for part of it rather then sleeping through it all.

Yeah, that might be for the best. But anyway, I wanted to actually text you so maybe this misfire is a good thing. Did you see that big info post that went up yesterday? The one about everything being a "reconstruction"?

Of course. I at least skim every post that goes on the network, although I don't read all the comments of anything that doesn't seem important.

What did you think about it?

To be honest, I'm a little concerned. I know we don't have a lot of memories to tell us what our world was like or anything like that, but I'm worried what this reconstruction would mean for us.

[ especially since daisuke seemed to be concerned about it ]

What about you? What are your thoughts?

I have several. It definitely upset many people, and I understand why, but I think it impacted those with more memories moreso. I am concerned and curious as to what that means for others from the same "place", though I remember nothing of them.

I think I am relieved to not have to have that concern about you.

It does imply that our final memories chronologically may be unpleasant.

Yeah, I don't think this new info is impacting me as hard as the others since I'm so new to all this.

But what makes you think that our memories will get worse? Because of everyone else's memories?

No - but if our world had to be "reconstructed", doesn't that imply that everyone who has memories will remember their worlds ending?

After all, what hasn't been destroyed doesn't need to be rebuilt.

I... I never thought of it like that.

That's terrible! Isn't that extremely bad news?!

It's only a hypothesis based on what we have been told. We may later find information that would make things different?

Maybe... It'd be really depressing to think that our worlds got destroyed and that's the reason why this is all happening.

I haven't heard of anyone talking about their memories involving their world ending but I would figure that's something too traumatizing to talk about.
