I couldn't say without knowing the man in question. But it can't hurt to ask around, at least. It isn't as though fixing a stove is nefarious purposes.

Probably not. After all, a working stove rather helps with cooking...you don't want to get in the habit of not doing that, probably...

It does work about 75% of the time, but the noises it makes in the middle of the night are pretty alarming.

I generally don't have the time to cook for myself. However, it's what my roommate loves to do, so I just coast off of that...

I do contribute to the grocery store, as well. However, I feel bad for my own relative lack of cooking prowess?

Is cooking a skill you'd like to learn? Personally, I find it soothing. It can take time, but it's a nice way to relax after a stressful day.

I'm not that interested in it for my own sake, but I'd certainly like to learn in order to pay back friends, I think?
