I had no idea what it would say. "Hammock, hat, hairspray, horoscope." My choices last Sunday were absolute nonsense. The horoscope was the most likely to have some sort of information, and the best way to test whether or not you were being legitimate.

While I don't seem to be able to help as much as, say, the "Wickie" can, I don't want to risk losing the chance to do so by trusting the wrong person, or someone with a role meant to counter mine. I haven't told my partner about this, nor anyone else. I have tried, every week, to choose something that will "help". The baskets were meant to help with food collection, and went to those organizing it.

...The first week I also tried to help, but I failed. I don't intend to do so again. "Punyai, Maduvu, Qama, and Pugia." Next time, I won't allow myself to be tricked or misled into endangering anyone.

I don't know who wrote the horoscope. I asked whose it would be and was told "good question". I'm waiting for the moment they give me a choice that will help turn the tides, and in the meantime, trying to get information from them for "hard work". I have no other avenues, and if I am careless I may miss out on the chance to at least see the rest of you through this with one good choice. I am willing to risk my own life, but I am not willing to trade away something that may or may not someday make or break everyone else without being absolutely certain in that choice.

...Or as near to certain as I can be.

...that's because you're a good person and you've already lived through something like this. But I'm guessing they didn't have a role like yours in your first killing game.

The first week was designed to screw us up. How could you have known? We didn't know anything. [There's a sigh though.] I didn't realize how prophetic it was, and I didn't know what to do with it. It's why I asked the people I've trusted, and you know those names. You know those are the people I value here, and I won't tell them that you gave it to me.

This was why you asked if I'd spoken to the Chiefs one and one, isn't it? Testing to see if I had a role and enough credit to actually do so. I'm sorry, I don't. I have to rely on getting information from everyone else. Lelouch was on the right track for the wrong reasons, I think. His list made us focus but...not in the way we were supposed to.

Normally I don't require the time. It gets put into play on Tuesday, and it's a list of four things: two from either chief. The other week with baskets was easy...or at least, it was between baskets and blankets. The other two choices were bananas and bongos.

I wondered if "blowdart" could have come from someone who matched my role, but I didn't spot anything that began with an "h" beyond my own item this week, so...all the same, mine is one of the four non-aligned roles. Five Sirens, two Wickies, and four unknowns...three, technically, since I know myself. And Jack confirmed Magilou and Bellamy to have no roles.

I can try, but I think that the Chiefs might be sick of my questions by now. I've been asking a lot of them lately. But I'll see if they will soon.

...with the bongos we could have at least alerted people of Joshua's murder, but the baskets are ultimately more helpful. What was week one then? List-wise. As for the blowdart I think that came from the Chiefs for the murder. It's the only thing I can think of. It only had one dart which is weird enough on its own.

You have five Sirens, two Wickies, you, the role that picks the partnerships the Chief told us, and two unknown. If Mera and I were on the right track, these might be other killing roles since we still don't know what happened to Ruby.

Magilou and Bellamy might not, but it might be a good idea to feel out Akira and Raven. And you already know that I don't, so you can rule me out, too. Yona I'm pretty sure doesn't since she's with me every Thursday. But you heard Jack, right? He didn't even know about the second Wickie.

And what's your title anyway?

If you're going to ask a role, maybe ask about the partner-assigning one. That's the one that's an outlier that we don't know much about.

We don't. But there is always an option other than the one given you...and unfortunately, I think the people I care about would likely be disappointed if I didn't find or make one of those.
