I'm assuming you're talking about retrospec and not homework.
[he sips his caffeine and turns the page.]
You're lucky you missed last month. Or perhaps unlucky? Maybe it would have made everything easier to accept if you were suddenly thrust into that situation. Even if it was horrible.
I know what you mean... [It's only been a month or two since he was "awakened", after all.] I guess I've been thinking about it like the news. While we see and learn about horrible things happening in the world, we don't fully feel its impact until it affects us. In a way, this is similar, right?
I think it's as good an analogy as any. It's rather a lot to take in all at once, and causes a headache if you think about the double-versions of "okay" and "not okay", but...I do prefer to be in the know rather than out of it, you know?
It'd be more troubling to go about as though this were all normal.
We have to do that anyway, don't we? It's not as if the world around us wakes up simply because we have. We've been forced into a difficult position. The world won't slow down when we'll need to cope and we'll be forced to hide the truth from others, simply because they won't believe us.
I'm not sure either side is better than the other.
[takes a sip of that hot drank]
But you're right. If I had to choose, I'm glad to be part of the population that knows the truth.

Someday someone's going to break your nose, and I'll have to set it...

Don't say such scary things. It makes it seem like you're the one entertaining the thought.

[ she sits down, passing him one of the coffees. ]
I'm afraid my cousins are far more likely to act in that manner.
no subject
... Really?
[He can't tell if she's joking...]
I can't imagine you being related to anyone so violent.
no subject
[ is that bias... ]
no subject
[so he can... avoid that]
no subject
[ that's so vague...a better answer would be "treat someone badly right in front of them" or something...
or "antagonize zoro for some reason"
or
anything ]
no subject
[that's too vague kyouko...
anyway he gestures to the grass around him.]
Will you sit?
no subject
[ and she will...super primly, but w/e. ]
So...I don't know where to begin with any of this, honestly.

[ WHO NEEDS TO THINK TO START IT! ]
As to that...it's rather...worrying. To remember that it all seemed so mundane at the time...?
no subject
[Right?]

[He blinks, looking up.]
Where did that come from? I've been more fortunate than others here. I was more speaking from observation.

[ does she really ]

You're... I'm not talking about anything scandalous.

[HE'S SO OFFENDED...]

[ she's definitely teasing him, fyi. ]

he kind of fumes until the steam blows out. then it's glancing around and muttering a reluctant.]
I think I may have been an idol.
no subject
...With dancing and singing and all that...?
