Not terribly long for me, but I haven't remembered anything long...? I've heard some people receive their memories in dreams, as well.

Well, I suppose dreams are better than having them get those memories suddenly during a dangerous situation.

That wouldn't be incorrect. So far I haven't had that particular problem, but it's a concern to keep in mind now. I imagine it's happened to at least a few people.
