The odd thing is that no matter how fast the dogs seem to run, and no matter how slow he and Kyouko are, they never catch up, nor does the track ever seem to end. He can see the bend up ahead, but it just gets further and further away. Still doesn't make being chased by rabid dogs any less terrifying.]
One of the dogs manages to catch up and it snaps at his ankles, almost managing to snag onto the skin of his leg. Ryuji kicks at it and hits it hard enough to send it stumbling off the track, but that doesn't deter the rest of them from chasing, unfortunately for them.]
